Our Committees
Public Relations & Advocacy
The Joint Public Relations & Advocacy Committee will work with the PR Manager and the Advocacy Coordinator for event planning, spearheading promotional activities, and carrying out the club’s advocacy work. The PR aspect includes developing social event ideas and ways to foster community within our organization. The Advocacy wing focuses on planning advocacy events, discussing advocacy issues important to our club, and ultimately carrying out the UN’s advocacy work on a local basis. We are also responsible for planning one of our largest events of the year, the Human Rights Gala.

Secretariat
The Secretariat Committee is responsible for the organization of MinneMUN. MinneMUN is the collegiate MUN conference we host which caters to people of all levels of experience. Secretariat focuses on picking committees, writing and editing background guides, staffing, funding, contacting delegations, and all other MinneMUN logistics. If any of these things seem interesting to you, or if you are just curious about how conferences are organized, feel free to join!
